So very true, Emily. Beautiful drawing!xo Carole
leonardo da vinci once said: "simplicity is the ultimate satisfaction", and i love him dearly for pointing that out, and for finding it back here. so, i wonder also. you've prepped the newsprint, right? thxs for playing, emily!n♥
Woolf, thx. No i did not prep the newsprint. Raw, mortal surface.....it's ephemeral...for any safekeeping, I will scan and make print at high res. This was impromptu little drawing done at the Essex Art Center open house. The spirit moved me...
Oh I love this Emily! So perfect and simple...not to mention I have a pension for well- used pencils, love :)

Ha, this makes me smile. Now I want to take that pencil and start drawing on the bare sheet it's lying on!

very touching in it's simplicity, the humble pencil stub in all it's beauty, the story it tells also, lovely Emily, xx
Beauty IS simple isn't it! How much we have all learned in this drawing challenge. How many new thoughts and old thoughts revisited have I travelled these past few days visiting you all. This is a great rendition that says so much. What are the visuals that that pencil has rendered I ask myself. It is all good. And all so simple. N, xo
