DC No. 104: Proverb or Saying

"Perch"
a/c | 7 x 5 inches | 2013
e. trespas

Like a crumb before a little bird,
I could not resist this drawing challenge.

Named after Emily Dickinson, I hold
her poetry like a sibling at my side.

Emily these colours and brush strokes have created such a whimsical and strong image. Gosh this is nice! Those sweet eyes! Okay I can only see one but I know they are both sweet, sweet, sweet. And there has been talk in this challenge (in the comments area) about words being a part of the art piece and how great that is. This work is great. Love it, N, xo
